We have been covering consumer products M&A quite often, but we think it is interesting to see how food in our pantry is getting acquired by big firms! Our friend reported that the chips from Siete are delicious and healthy so we hope this transaction is a great addition to PepsiCo products :) Also, glad that Siete found its exit after being under PE management for about 5 years.

    • Known for producing food, snack, beverage globally.

    • Publicly traded (NASDAQ: PEP).

    • Family owned, founded in 2014, based in Texas.

    • Produce grain-free & dairy-free Mexican food from almond flour.

    • PepsiCo expands to Mexican products (tortilla chips & queso dips).

    • PepsoCo adds healthier options to the snack line with almond flour Mexican chips.

    • Siete was discussing closely with the PE firms and food companies.

    • Healthier food options are trending!
