IPO market slows down

    • Experts were expecting IPOs to pick up near the end of this year, but a shaky market has scared companies.

    • IPO market went cold in 2021 when the Fed started to raise interest rates.

    • Most companies who have IPO’d in the last 2.5 years are trading below their IPO prices.

    • Primarily driven by uncertainty around the election and how much the Fed is cutting rates.

    • StubHub and Chinese autonomous driving company, WeRide, are two companies delaying their IPO until 2025.
